How to Make Mickey Waffles!

hey guys good morning we are going tomake today my favorite treat from WaltDisney World resorts and that is Mickeyflaca[Music]so every weekend we like to make Mickeywaffles and this morning is no differentso I’m going to show you how to makeyour very own Mickey waffles at homeyou’re gonna hear bacon in thebackground sizzling because I’m makingbreakfast as well so you can see I havesome hashbrowns and I have some baconand then I’ll make some eggs at the endto go along with our Mickey waffles solet’s go ahead and get started you couldfind most of these things on Amazonexcept the waffle maker the waffle makeris actually purchased through Disney youcan buy it at the store and it is the90th anniversary waffle maker and it’savailable online and it has thethickness that you need to make theDisney waffles then this is the mix thatyou need to buy you can buy this onAmazon or directly from the websitegolden malted they have lots ofvarieties we ended up getting this onesince it’s the original but they alsohave one that comes like this that youcan just add water so essentially tomake the waffles you need the mix eggsjust one egg butter some milk and that’sit we also purchased some golden maltedclassic syrup to get the original syruptaste so this is also something youcould find in the hotels but you can useany syrup and then we also got from thewebsite golden malted grid conditionerwhich allows you to spray on the Mickeywaffle maker before you put the mix sothat it doesn’t stick so let’s go aheadand get started and make the walls soyou only need one egg for this recipe soI’m going to put the others to the sidewhen you’re essentially going to mixeverything the bowlso it says to beat the egg and theliquid together so for waffles youactually need five ounces of water beatthe egg and the liquid together sobeating the egg and the five ounces ofwater togetherI’m going to need to do two tablespoonsof butter but they want it melted so I’mgoing to put this in the microwave nowI’m putting the melted butter into themix you need 1 cup of the mixit’s nice and soft and fluffy this is amixin you can find in most hotels andrestaurants use this mix alright so Ijust mixed in this bowl the egg thewater and the original waffle pancakemixed with the melted butter so I’m justgonna keep stirring it and then I’mgonna turn on my Mickey waffle makerI’m gonna take my golden malted premiumgrid conditioner and spray just enoughto get all so now I can go ahead and putthe mix in[Music]then you seal it I usually like to usethe light temperature because if you putit any more than that it gets too burntI don’t like them burnt but if you doyou can make it darkerI recommend the lowest setting to getthem just rightonce the waffles already a light willcome on as an indicator and it’ll alsomake a little sound so to get thethickness of the waffles that you wantyou should put just a little bit extramix above the mickey face so this one Idid you can see it’s spread out a littlebit and that gave the consistency thatI’m looking for and the shape on notonly the front but the backside if youput too little what will happen is theMickey face will not show up correctlyon one side like this one you can see soyou have to put just enough so that Icould spread on both sides if not itjust looks up down one so I made it alittle bit darker just so that you cansee here I put it on the second squareand that is what these look like sothey’re a little bit darker the rest ofthem I made on the lowest setting whichis much golden much more golden if youput it at the lowest lowest setting youget it looks like this so this is thelowest setting this is a little bithigher and then this is like the secondsquareso it just depends on what you’relooking for now a taste testalright so I’m going to try one of theMickey waffles now with my golden multiclassic syrup which I bought on a whimonline let’s see you’re gonna do itmight as well do it right and get thefull experience so let’s see how thistastes[Music]just like the resorts it is very fluffynice and golden-brown if you have thewhole entire Miki face nice andthickness and you have to get this Mikiwaffle makerto get the thickness we had a differentMiki waffle maker and it wasn’t as thickand it didn’t have the same consistencythis one definitely does and the mix themix and the syrup add to the flavor andthe taste to get what you’d get in theresorts just like any hotel you’d havein Disney World so there you have itthat is a breakfast it is very goodfinishing up the eggs here I havehashbrowns bacon and Mickey waffles itis a full Disney Resort experience thatyou would get and we certainly missDisney since we’re not able to go visitright now but this will definitely bringus back to the magic I hope you enjoyedit we’ll put all of the links in thedescription below to all the productsthat we talked about so you can makesure that you get the same exactproducts to make your very own DisneyMickey waffles thanks for watching seeyou next time[Music]
