hey y’all what can you cook today a I’mJohn Darius and today we’re going toshow you how we make chicken and wafflesso we’re going to prepare the chickenfirst we got our cutlets and we’re gonnabe removing this little white tendonbecause this is useless and it’sdisgusting so I kind of get underneathof it with a knife and start it but thenit’s slippery so hold on with a papertowelI may just kind of scrape the meat offof it because this gets rock hard andchewy so that’s how we do that anotherone just get under this little whitewrong here then grab a hold of this witha paper towel or a tea towel[Music]make sure it’s try because the wet willslide apart life’s title which is what’shappening now oops this one’s a toughbugger here I got it I got it very sharpknifeand then just work it off just oneskeeping me in a rough time I’m making aliar out of me there we go now you canput these back on skewers once thattendons out we’re not going to do thatthough so we’re gonna do is I’m Templar removed allof the tendons out of them and this is 2cups of buttermilk and then the spicesour teaspoon of salt 1/2 a teaspoon ofthyme 1/2 a tbsp dry basil third wastried oregano tablespoon of celery salttablespoon of black pepperthe tablespoon of dried mustard 3tablespoons of paprika 2 tablespoons ofgarlic 1 tablespoon of ginger 3tablespoons of white pepper and then twotables teaspoons of some kind ofseasoning salt so what we’re gonna do ismix this into the buttermilk and then itlooks like a lot but it’s really notand despite this my really goodChristmas are checking them make surethey’re all coated I’m going to coverthis with saran wrap or as they say inthe Great British Bake Off claim wrapnow it doesn’t really matter thatthey’re not like a whole pieces becauseof what we’re going to do with themlater with the with the waffle mix soget them all nice and covered with thespices in there and then we’re gonna letit sit for probably I say four hoursbaby then we’ll come back and we’ll saywe’ll fry them up and put them togetherwith our waffles all right all rightwe’re back our chickens been marinatingso now what we’re gonna do is dip thesein I mixed equal parts corn starch andflour and then we’re going to drop themin our oil make sure you cook them realgood they should take probably about 15minutes and the oil so rather than boreyou we’re going to do through the magicof turning the GoPro off whoops makesure you don’t burn yourself or yourhusbands while you do this[Music]make sure you dredge them really goodand put it in the oil[Music]this is canola oil you want to use aflavorless oil you can use peanut oilthat one by the way the spices I put inhere earlier are just from the KFCripoff so you can put any spices youlike in it I liked it the 11th placethat’s from KFC so we use that so we’regonna take a break cook all this chickenfeed back and show you when it’s doneall right bitches the chicken is donedoes that not look amazing definitely ohmy gosh so now we have waffle batter andyou can make your own homemade we chooseto get the instinct on from the grocerystore because it’s quicker we have ourwaffle iron a little spring and butterso we’re gonna do is spray a littlebutter so they don’t stick and nowbecause I don’t want the chicken to betoo thick I’m gonna cut it in halfwe eat that piece then we’re going toput some batter in hereso our own chicken-and-waffle Joe justhow we do it what sticking them off fory’all this is the tits now put a littlebit about it back on top wrought ironnow I don’t have the fancy car so I’mgoing to press mine I’m going to cook alittle bit because it’s starting to oozeand that’s how you do itif I have won a fancy one they look atthe mess I’m making but you know whatwe’re doing this together it’s
