Welcome to my Valentines Day Series. Here is a DIY video to help you make the most beautiful and Delicious Valentine’s Day breakfast or brunch. This DIY Chicken and Waffle Bouquet is super easy to make, and perfect for any kind of Valentine’s Day celebration! This DIY Valentine’s Day breakfast/brunch bouquet features a vase full of everyone’s favorites. You can never go wrong with chicken and waffles. The best part about this video is that this is perfect for everyone, even the most unskilled cook can make this beautiful and delicious creation. It is incredibly affordable and soon to be your go to breakfast.
You will need:
A small vase
LONG skewers
Tape
Chicken strips ( about 14 -16)
Waffles ( 8- 10)
1 carton of fresh strawberries
Decorative ribbon
Prepare your chicken and waffles according to the package directions or make homemade mini waffles and homemade chicken strips.
Here are my step by step directions:
Wash and dry the vase, then tie the ribbon around the vase.
Use tape to make a grid on top of the vase by taping some pieces horizontally and vertically.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
Place the chicken strips in a single layer on a non stick pan. Cook for 10 minutes. Then add the waffles in a single layer. Cook the waffles until throughly warmed.
Wash and dry the strawberries, making sure the berries are completely dry.
Carefully cut the green stems off of the strawberries, without cutting too much.
Begin to put the the chicken strips on the skewers, followed by the strawberries, and then the waffles.
For the best results I found 3 large strawberries/ 1 mini waffle/ 2 chicken strips per skewer makes the best looking arrangement.
Once you have all of the food on the skewers begin placing them in the vase. Arrange them any way you would like. In the beginning of this process the skewers will fall over and look like it isn’t going to work. Continue to build your bouquet, and it will work out.
This beautiful and tasty treat is quick, simple, and delicious!
