Buttermilk Waffle Recipe
Ingredients
1 egg
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon cane sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
Whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
In a large bowl beat milk, oil, egg, and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and blend.
Preheat waffle iron no cooking spray need for nonstick cooking plates
Pour the waffle mixture onto waffle iron. Close waffle iron and bake. Serve with your favorite toppings! We enjoy butter, maple syrup, fresh fruits like strawberries, banana, Nutella and walnuts.
How to heat the Nutella
In a small pan, add water and bring to a boil. Place a heat proof bowl into the pan, add Nutella let sit for three minutes or until Nutella melts.
