Bread Week
The annual Bread Week has arrived and the eight remaining bakers must prove that they can rise to the occasion. For the Signature Bake, each baker shows their stuff with Stuffed Flat Breads, filled with a deliciously savoury filling of their choice. Then its fika, or coffee time, for the Technical Challenge with a Swedish Tea Ring: a sweet yeasted bread with cardamom, cinnamon, and raisins. Finally, for the Show Stopper, the bakers must put on their artist hats to create an edible Bread Work of Art. After carefully reviewing and tasting each creation, the judges announce who impressed them enough to earn Star Baker and who must say goodbye.

THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW brings together 10 newbie bakers from throughout the Canada to compete in a chain of themed culinary challenges that celebrate their various backgrounds, families and communities.
