No Bake Oreo Pie Crust Recipe

My no bake Oreo pie crust recipe is easy and delicious. With just two ingredients and a few minutes, you can make a delicious no bake chocolate crust that is perfect for cheesecake and other desserts.

The basis of this crust is crushed Oreos or some other similar chocolate sandwich cookie. I used 2/3 of a 14.3 ounce package, so there were enough cookies left over to make the filling for a pie. This recipe could not get any easier: I simple took the cookies out of the package, put them into a plastic bag, and then crushed them with a rolling pin. If you have a food processor, you can definitely use that, too. However, I did want to clarify that I did not pull apart the cookies and take out the filling, so I literally just took the whole Oreos out of the package, put them in a plastic bag, and then crushed them: like I said, this recipe is easy.

After taking out my frustrations with life on the Oreos, I then melted 1 stick of butter in the microwave. Once the butter was melted and the cookies were crushed, I mixed the butter and crumbs together and then pressed the wet crumbs into a 9-inch pie plate. Although I did not add any other ingredients, I think that a bit of vanilla, a pinch of salt, or maybe even up to a teaspoon of instant coffee would be good additions.

Since I wanted to make a no bake Oreo pie crust, I then simply put the crust into the refrigerator and let it chill for 2-3 hours before continuing with the recipe. However, if you wanted to bake the crust, I would bake it at 350 F for 10-15 minutes and then go from there.

This no bake Oreo pie crust recipe is easy and delicious. With crushed chocolate cookies and butter, it is guaranteed to be good. My only criticism is that, just like my no bake graham cracker crust, it did not hold together as well as I would have liked when I sliced the pie. Honestly, since I had the same problem with my graham cracker crust, I think that no bake crusts may just not be quite as solid. Like I already said, you could bake it, but honestly, having the crust fall apart a bit was not a big deal for me.

If you are looking to give desserts like cheesecake, strawberry pie, brownies, or Oreo pie a chocolate base, then be sure to learn how to make my no bake Oreo pie crust recipe. It is the perfect recipe to have on hand for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any time of the year.👨‍🍳🍫🍪🥧
