It was close to our anniversary, so thought I’d make my husband a pecan pie. But we live in Colorado so I had to use high altitude directions, so I thought I’d enclose those directions as well, because not all recipes work in all altitudes. So this is an easy pecan pie with high altitude instructions.
Ingredients : regular altitude
1 cup Karo light corn syrup
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 Tb butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (6 oz) pecans
1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie crust
