Banoffee pie is an English dessert pie made from bananas, cream and toffee (made from boiled condensed milk, or dulce de leche), combined either on a buttery biscuit base or one made from crumbled biscuits and butter. Some versions of the recipe also include chocolate, coffee or both. It’s a British dessert which is quite popular all around the world.
The name Banoffee is a combination of words ‘Bananas and Toffee and is a no-make, easy to make dessert 🙂

Ingredients for the base
Wheat Slices/Digestive Biscuits/Graham Cracker: 16-18
Melted Butter: 1/2 cup
Ingredients for the Caramel/Toffee Sauce
Condensed Milk: 500 g
Butter: 2 Tbsp.
Brown Sugar: 2 Tbsp.
Salt: a pinch (incase of using unsalted butter)
You can also prepare it by boiling a condensed milk can by immersing it in a pot filled with water for 2-3 hrs. Remove the paper before boiling and let it cool down completely before opening the can.
Or buy a ready made can of dulce de leche to make your life easy 🙂
Whipping Cream: 400 ml
Milk Chocolate: 50 g
Cocoa Powder: 1 Tbsp.
Instant Coffee Granules: 1/2 tsp.
