BANOFEE PIE RECIPE | NO BAKE PIE| toffee sauce from scratch

I tried making banofee pie from scratch, and now i feel i have been wasting all my money for years, buying pies and desserts from exorbitant cafes. This recipe is extremelly easy to put together and the results are dreamy.
I made toffee sauce from scratch but you can also go for the milkmaid tin boiling method. i just could not get hold of milkmaid due to the lockdown. and now that we have all started to make milkmaid at our homes its kind of difficult to do the tin method.
also, the biscuit base is usually made by digestive biscuits but again due to the pandemic, i used the ingredients which were readily available in my kitchen.

INGREDIENTS

BISCUIT BASE
▪︎1 & 1/2 packet of marie biscuits (use digestive if you have)
▪︎4 tbsp room temperature butter.

TOFFEE SAUCE
▪︎1Cup sugar
▪︎3/4th cup warm cream(I used home malai cause that works great too)
▪︎2 Tbsp butter
▪︎ a pinch of salt. (If your butter isn’t salted)

CHOCOLATE GANACHE
▪︎Cream
▪︎dark chocolate
(equal amounts)

▪︎1/2 cup WHIPPED CREAM/ Amul fresh cream
▪︎ 3-4 Bananas

TIPS
▪︎Your cream should be warm when you pour it over caramelized sugar, if the temperature differs it tends to crystallize. (NEVER BOIL YOUR CREAM, its should only be heated until its warm.)
▪︎The ganache quantity can be increased or decreased by your taste preference. but keep in mind that the chocolate tends to overpower any dish if used in abundance.
▪︎I got the thick paste like texture of the chocolate after refrigerating it for a few hours.
▪︎the toffee sauce should always be made on LOW FLAME. otherwise you will end up burning your sugar.
▪︎only use NON DAIRY WHIPPING CREAM. you won’t get the desired results on Dairy whipping creams like amul. (trust me i have tried everything)
▪︎If you can’t get hold of whipping cream, just replace it with vanilla icecream. or the normal Amul cream will also do. the texture might not be cloudy but once set, it will give you the same taste.
