BOURBON MAPLE SYRUP
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp bourbon
pinch of salt

Heat maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add butter, stirring until melted. Add bourbon and salt. Cook at a simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

PUMPKIN WHIPPED CREAM
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp pumpkin puree
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Whip all ingredients until fully combined and stiff peaks form. Add more pumpkin pie spice to taste.

CANDIED PEPITAS
1/2 cup raw pepitas
2 tbsp granulated sugar
pinch of salt

Toast pepitas in a pan over medium heat. Remove from pan and add sugar to pan. Cook, without stirring. When sugar is melted and golden brown, remove from heat and stir in pepitas and salt. Transfer to a small sheet pan or plate to let cool.
