Spring Onion Pancake | Easy Step Cooking Recipes

Name : Spring Onion Pancake
Yield : 10-12 pcs

Ingredients :

All purpose Flour 400 gram
Cold water 280 ml
Chives/ Spring Onion 1 cup ( chopped)
Rock Salt 1 tbsp
Sesame seed 2 tbsp
Vegetable Oil 250 ml

Optional :
Grated Cheese ½ cup
Tidbits bacon ½ cup

Method :

1. Make a dough and let it rest. Mix 400 grams of all purpose flour and gradually add cold water until of large flakes form. Press and knead the dough flakes together by hand to form a dough ball. Continue kneading until it become smooth . Sprinkle a little oil to a clean bowl to coat the boil with oil . Place the dough and cover with parchment paper or clean cloth and let rest for 30 minutes.

2. Roll out the dough, cut the dough into 4 equal parts.
3. Put a little oil on the working area. Roll out into a thin thick of ¼ inch. Brush with vegetable oil, sprinkle with rock salt , spring onion and sesame seed.
4. Roll up the dough. Starting from the long end roll the dough up tightly until it become snail.
5. Rest the roll up dough for 10 minutes. Then after 1o minutes, flatten the snail dough into smooth and round pancake.
6. Cook the pancake for 2 minutes on one side and flip up the other side of pancake and cook for another 2 minutes . Cook the pancake in a medium heat and drizzle a little of oil.
7. Cut the pancake into wedges and serve immediately with chili buttered sauce

Chili Buttered Sauce

Butter 2tbsp
Tomato Paste 1 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Brown Sugar 2 tbsp
Water 3 bsp
Chili Flakes 2 tsp
Salt 1/8 tsp
Pepper 1/8 tsp
Method :

1. Mix all the ingredients in the skillet and cook in a medium heat.
