Oats Pancake Recipe | Healthy & Easy Oatmeal Pancake | How To Make Fluffy Oatmeal Pancakes

Want to make your Sunday brunches perfect? Why not indulge and stay healthy at the same
time. Here’s our take on the all time favourite pancakes with a Cook Meets Cam twist!

Ingredients:
1 cup Oats (Powdered)
¼ tsp Baking powder
¼ cup Protein powder (Chocolate)
1 Egg
Vanilla essence
1 tbsp Honey
½ cup Milk
Pinch of Salt
Oil (For greasing)
1 tbsp Butter (Optional for topping)
Maple syrup / Honey (Optional for topping)

In this recipe I used the regular Quaker oats that I powdered in a blender. Take a big mixing
bowl and add in all the dry ingredients first: oats powder, baking powder, salt and chocolate
protein powder. You can also substitute the protein powder for a teaspoon of cocoa powder.
Whisk all the dry ingredients together to remove all lumps.

Next make a well in the middle to add in the wet ingredients. Start by craving an egg and add
some vanilla essence ( a few drops would work just fine!). Add honey as per desired sweetness,
i used a tablespoon in the above recipe. Next add a mixer of your choice. I used regular milk.
You can add low fat milk / Almond milk / Soy milk or simply even use water. Now whisk it all until
you get a smooth and thick batter. This would look like a cake batter, but a little runny.
Now heat a non-stick pan and grease with Oil / Butter. Pour a ladle or two of the pancake mix in
the middle. The amount of batter you pour would depend on the size of pancakes that you are
looking for. I used almost two small ladles. Make sure the flame is medium-low. You will notice
small holes forming in the pancakes. THis is due t o the baking powder that we used in our mix.
This makes the pancakes lighter and fluffy. You should not flip when you see bubbles, but you
should flip when those bubbles pop and form holes that stay open on the surface of the
pancake.
Stack up your pancakes and add your favorite toppings. I used a generous dollop of butter
followed by some maple syrup and icing sugar. Enjoy this deliciousness without the guilt of the
regular flour version 🙂
