[Applause][Music][Applause][Music][Applause][Music]my lovely assistant now hope will showyou all the ingredients you need to makepancakes at home thank you now ko okayso first we need some flour we need oneand a half cups of flour now in the USAwe measure things in a measurementcalled cups and so we’re not going to dothat but I’m using a recipe from USAwhich uses cups so I converted them tograms so one and a half cup comes out to187 point five grams of flour so onehundred and eighty seven point fivegrams I’m going to shoot for about 190188 you know somewhere in there don’thave to be too exact let’s move on so wealso need three and a half teaspoons ofbaking powder that’s the red yeah bakingpowder this is all this stuff you canget right here in car biobecause we got it here this is royalbaking powder a lot of it okay we needthree and a half teaspoons of bakingpowder and now we need have one teaspoonof salt salt and let’s get some meltedbutter we’re going to be using back 1tablespoon not melted yet we have to dothat in the stove some way and one eggone egg there’s that egg and 1 and 1/4cups of milk now that is 500 grams ofmilk yes milk and you can just use someregular milk for this all right now wealso need 1 tablespoon of sugar sugarthere’s some sugar this is some nicesugar brown sugar you can use whateversugar you want I like to use brown sugarand we also need a little bit of vanillanow you don’t need it this is optionalbut it makes it better in my opinionvanilla flavoring and you can add anyflavor you like in fact there are manyvariations on pancakes though and we’regonna make a few different variations sonow so can you show what do you like tohave on top of your pancakes when youwhen you have pancakes yes well we’llput these cookies inside the pancakehere we have a ripe banana that we canchop up and put into pancakes reallylikes these well actually to tell youthe honest truth I have never madepancakes with habanero peppers in thembut tonight I’m going to try that forthe first time so we’re gonna make somecrazy crazy weeks slice that’s right nowhat about the stuff you pour on top ofthem yes this is maple syrup[Music]yeah you can get this at the guidanceand probably other stores too but as yousee here we are very close to theguidance you can see it I don’t have thewindow so that’s where we only go[Music]yeah well we’ve got some cinnamon we’vegot some cinnamon here and is cinnamonokay so those are all the things we needto put them together that’s right we’regonna need about one hundred and eightyseven point five grams of flour so let’ssee we’re gonna go right under closestwe have is looks like one tick under 200would be to 190 we’re gonna go for thatyeah you pour it yeah let’s see if wecan see this that’s enough okay that’salmost 200 but that’s gonna be okay pourthis into the big bowl yeah that’s theflour that’s the bulk of what we’ve gotokay we’re gonna mix all the dry stuffup first so next let’s get salt I’mgonna add 1 teaspoon of salt into theflour[Music]yes okay that’s all the dry things nowso we need to stir that up what you havea fork there yeah but if you had a whiskthat would be really good but we don’thave a whisk so we’re just gonna use itfor it so stir that up stir that up stirthat up that’s all mixed together wejust mix all the dry ingredients nowwe’re gonna mix all the wet ingredientslike egg first that’s right first we’remixing in an egg now we’re beating theegg beat you the egg we’re gonna pour in300 grams of milk keep pouring it wouldbring the milk inall right now we’re gonna add onetablespoon of melted butter and look atour beautiful mix okayokay now we’re gonna add in half so westir it up and we let it rest for aboutfive minutes or longer so you’re lookingfor this sort of kind of liquidyconsistency you can make it thicker youcan make it thinner as you like but thisis a good looking pancake consistency tome okay and the batter right herewe’ve got a fire going on the stovewhich is fairly hot about a medium fireI think and we’re gonna get the pan hotonce it gets hot we might turn down thatflame to keep it at a good eventemperature and we kind of started offwith first yeah this is our test pancakeso good pour it in thereall right now well it’s cooking we waituntil we see bubbles come up I don’t seeany bubbles yet there’s one little bitnow you can see the edge is gettingcooked and drying out a little bit sonow I think we can flip this one overand see what it’s like on the other sideoh that’s pretty good because addingbananas to this pancake sliced bananasput some cinnamon on it too why not it’sfor fun put on blueberries okay let’stry to put this banana face over that’spretty good looking that looks prettygoodpretty brown you can hear the sizzlingof the frying pan the frying pansizzling awaynow we’re gonna try to flip it againlook at that face Wow we’re gonna spiceit up and you can’t touch your eyes whenyou touch those yeah you need to washyour handsall right now who’s ready to eitherpancake it’s got a pat of butter on topand we’re going to put on some maplesyrup what do you think about that nowgo oh it’s too much more cake you don’tneed much maple syrup now you can spreadthe butter around and you could even putjam on it or whatever you want think howdid the pancakes taste great all right[Music]and Clark is gonna eat his cyberneticand yeahnever made a hot pepper pancake beforeit but I tried one once at a restaurantand yeah do you like it I did it was ajalapeno and cornmeal pancake 20-story Iused to think that bobbing arrows werepronounced habaneros turns out that’snot right okay this is gonna be anexperiment here that’s deliciousfunny enough they they didn’t getspicier they got milder okay I feel alittle spice now but not too badactually it’s just really delicious mmmokay so clark recommends trying to puthot peppers in your pancakes anotheridea I like to have a nice cut egg ontop of my pancakes it’s one more thingdon’t you normally have pancakes forbreakfast don’t you normally havepancakes at breakfast time y’all goodyeah yeah so we hear yeah cuz we’recrazyyeah we’re crazy oh but it says oh we’rechocolate cheese[Applause][Music]
