In the first episode of Cooking with SpaAa, we attempt to make pancakes and end up turning most of them into charcoal. Feel free to join us every weekend as we cook some meals and produce some charcoal by accident!
RECIPE:
3 eggs
Milk
Vanilla sugar
Sugar
Flour
Oil
Butter
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Cover the yolks with milk and oil, mix, then add flour and a teaspoon of vanilla sugar (or less depending on how you like it) then mix until the batter is smooth.
Whisk the egg whites until they have a cloudy texture, then add as much sugar as you want. If you want to, then add a teaspoon of vanilla sugar to the egg whites as well.
Butter up the pan and put it on your stove with medium heat. Do not do the same mistake as we did (putting the batter on the pan too early and then adding more heat even though the pan wasn’t heated properly) unless you want charcoal flavored pancakes.
If done properly, then your pancakes should be sweet and there should be no need for any toppings like maple syrup and all that. However, feel free to add your own toppings! You’re the boss of your pancakes!
