How to make Whole Wheat Fluffy Pancakes | Weekend Brunch

Whip up these over the weekend for a delightful brunch.Team it up with some coffee/tea.

Ingredients
200 gms Whole Wheat Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
1 Egg
1 Cup / 200ml Milk
Butter/ Ghee for cooking
½ Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
Nutella & Honey for topping

Instructions
In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
In a smaller bowl crack in the egg and pour in the milk.
Add vanilla essence to the egg and milk and use a fork to mix together until everything is well incorporated.
Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients little by little (not all at one go). Fold the batter together with a whisker/ spoon until there are no lumps left. The batter consistency should be thick and not very flowy so that the pancakes turn out to be thick and fluffy.
To cook the pancakes heat a pan over medium low heat. When the pan is hot add a small amount of butter to grease it followed by ⅓ cup of the pancakes batter.
Cook the pancake for 2-3 minutes each side. Repeat with remaining batter.
Serve the pancakes stacked high with butter nutella and honey (or maple syrup). Enjoy.

Notes
You can add other flavourings to the pancakes such as chocolate chips. Add the extra ingredients at the same time as you combine the wet and dry ingredients.
