[Music]hi everyone welcome back to my channelif you’re new here I’m Lotte and todaywe’re going to be teaching you how tomake scotch pancakes so I tried thesethe other day and they turned outfantastic and I wanted to show you twohow we made it so let’s get going so tomake our Scotch pancakes we need tostart off with the wet stuff first sowe’re gonna use two eggs and 400milliliters of milk now let’s mix ittogetherthe great thing about these pancakes isthey taste even better the next day soyou can get all your battles togetherput it in a jar some cling film over thetop and use them the next day it makes anew lusciously thick once it’s gone niceand foamy it’s time to start adding allof our dry ingredients in so first we’regonna start with our flour and we need350 grams it has to be self raising justso you can get the lift on it as welland we’re also using baking powder sowe’re going to be adding a hundred gramsof caster sugar in and once but notleast is the baking powder and we needtwo heaped teaspoons now let’s getmixing now depending on how you’ll makesure turns out you can add more milk ifit’s a bit dry or you know if it’s tooliquidy you can always add a little bitmore flour in as well but you have tomake sure you get all of them locked outnow the best thing to do once you havemixed it all is to let it sit at leasthalf an hour just so that the bakingpowder can get going and it starts toaerate a bit but if you are impatientlike me then you can easily just goahead and start putting it in the pan agreat tip to make it a little bit easierto pour is to put it in the jug first ofall so we’re gonna put it in there nowhead over to start baking them so beforeyou put your pancakes in the pan youactually need to grease it this stopsthem from sticking and it makes itreally easy to flip so all I do is add ablob of oil with a little napkin andthen just spread it over the rim nowdon’t bend this because you can reuse itevery time you’re about to Pat pancakein so to get the pan nice and hot youwant it on a high heat first of all andthen when you’re putting the pancake input it on a low heat so once your oil isnice and hot it is ready to go with thebatteryouthe way that you know your pancakes areready is when these little bubbles stoppopping you have to wait just a few moreseconds after that and then you can flipthem also don’t worry if your pancakestick together once you’re about to flipit just cut between the two of them andthey’ll easily be fine if you’ve gotkids or even one a little treat yourselfyou can always add some milk chocolatechips into the batter mix and they tastedeliciousand once the cooked on both sidesthey’re ready to plate upso there we go now there are a fewtoppings that you can add to yourpancakes you could go for the classicalgolden syrupyou could go butter or you could gocrazy and have some Nutella on if you’dlike is why you could have sugar andlemon or you could just eat them plainit’s totally dependent on you I’m gonnago for butter boy do they look deliciouslet’s give it a taste testdee-liciouspop out for breakfast or even a middaysnack totally up to you you decoratethem how you like them so I hope youenjoyed this video and if you did pleasegive it a big thumbs up subscribe downbelow and I’ll see you again for thenext one byeyou
