HOW TO MAKE FLUFFY ALMOND FLOUR PANCAKES – LOW CARB – GLUTEN FREE

ALMOND FLOUR PANCAKES

1 cup almond flour
1 tbls psyllium husk
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbls butter, (your choice) melted
1/4 cup water
extra virgin olive oil for frying the pancakes

Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients to the consistency required.

I got 10 medium size pancakes

[Music]hi welcome to my kitchentoday I’ll be showing you how our be onmaking some gluten-free pancakes not forthese pancakes I’ll be using on almondflour this is the brand that I’ll beusingCoughlin’s is very fine and I have in myball by mixing bowl I have on 1 cup ofthe almond flour note to the almondflour I’ll be adding some baking powderwe add in 1 teaspoon of baking powderthis is devious baking powderI’ll be adding a 1/4 teaspoon of saltwhat a teaspoon of salt I have all theingredients listed in the descriptionbox below and I’ll be using somepsyllium husk abusing one tablespoon ofpsyllium husk and I’ll be using somecinnamon have a quarter teaspoon ofcinnamon just a quarter teaspoonI’m going to mix all the dry ingredientstogether mix it all up nicely in thelater time I have my griddle on the homeburner I have it on heating up so it’llbe nice and hot when I’m ready to armfry up the pancakes okay I’m gonna addone tablespoon of butterand this is the arm brand of butter thatI’m using Smart Balance it’s a veryhealthy butter I have two eggsI have a quality study I have 1/4 cup ofalmond milk unsweetened the originalalmond milk this is what it’s lookinglike this is the brand so I’m gonna mixall this togetherI don’t think oh I almost forgot thevanilla I’m gonna put 1/4 teaspoon ofvanilla this vanilla essence so let’s onmix this all upyou can mix all this in the blender ifyou like I think I have to own I’ll beadding a bit of water as well put aquarter cup of waterand that’s only so I can get the ownconsistency that I desire for mypancakescan use all there’s a quarter cup ofwater[Music]it’s nice incorporated now it’s niceconsistency so just let it rest for afew minutes and I’ll come back and we’llget on to frying up the pancakescoming along nicelyjust you can’t seeas we all know the first sip doesn’talways you know Arnold rightI just leave that for a few minuteslongerthey’re probably nicelyyouyou[Applause][Music]these are the ones that have alreadybeen done looking nice okay these shouldbe just what ready to turn overthe second match Toronto real nicelyyouokayI’ll be back to show you how they allturned out thanks for watching and I’llsee you next time on my cooking segmentbyeyou
