Easy cooking – German Potato Pancake (Kartoffelpuffer) 德式馬鈴薯煎餅 | 👩🏻‍🍳Miss J’s Kitchen

當我不知道要煮什麼的時候,這道簡易的德國料理是個不錯的選擇。在德國,人們喜歡吃馬鈴薯煎餅搭配蘋果泥。Mr. S吃這個煎餅時,總是可以吃掉上大半玻璃瓶的蘋果泥。對我來說,沾一點點醬或是不沾醬,這個煎餅都很好吃。
When I don’t have any idea to cook for meal, this one easy German dish is a good choice. In Germany, people like to eat this potato pancakes with apple puree. When Mr. S eats this pancake, he always can eat half a glass bottle of apple puree. For me, this pancake is delicious with a bit sauce or without sauce.

English Recipe
[Ingredients]
– Potato 750g
– Onion 1
– Egg 1
– A little bit of Salt
– A little bit of Black Pepper
– Any kind of Flour 2 tbsp

1. Peel potatoes.
2. Shred these potatoes with a grater.
3. Peel and shred the onion.
4. Add egg, salt, black pepper and mix well.
5. Add flour and mix well.
6. Add vegetable oil to the pan. Use a spoon to dig a ball of potato mixture to the pan, and use the spoon to flatten.
7. Fry over medium heat, so that the potato pancakes don’t burn. Fry pancakes until the underside is light brown then can turn another side. It takes about 3 to 4 minutes for each side.
8. Sprinkle some Italian spices on the plate and put some sauce. The traditional German way of eating is warm pancakes with sweet apple puree.
