so today I’ve got a quick easy keto
breakfast idea for you guys and that is
a one-minute almond flour pancake now
woman it just refers to the cook time on
this pancake but from start to finish
you’re just looking at five minutes
maybe a little less to make this thing
also if you want to make entire stack of
pancakes out of this recipe takes a
little bit more time but it’s totally
worth it and you don’t have to use the
microwave either I’m gonna give you guys
instructions on how to do that later on
in the video as well now some of you
guys might remember that we’ve done a
couple of pancakes on the channel thus
far but none have been this easy or this
fluffy these are seriously be fluffiest
keto pancakes I’ve ever made my life so
that said let’s get right into the
recipe I’ll show you how to make these
pancakes okay so first things first
we’re gonna take out our food skill and
a medium size Bowl or for easier pouring
I like to use a large measuring cup now
we’re gonna start adding the liquid
ingredients for our keto pancakes and
the first ingredient we’re gonna add is
a large egg once we’ve added that the
next ingredient we’re gonna add is some
keto pancake syrup I like to use this
one by Walden Farms it has zero calories
and zero carbs so it’s totally keto
friendly and it’s pretty tasty too
anyways we’ll want to add two and a half
tablespoons or 35 grams of that to our
bowl followed by a half a teaspoon of
vanilla extract and then we’re gonna
follow that up with a half a tablespoon
of some melted salted butter now we’re
just gonna take out our whisk and whisk
fi those ingredients together until
they’re combined so once they do combine
we’re gonna start adding our dry
ingredients for our low carb pancakes
and the first of which should come as no
surprise it’s gonna be almond flour a
lot of you guys know I love to use
almond flour in a lot of different
recipes and today’s is no different so
for our keto pancakes we’re gonna add a
half a cup or 56 grams of that almond
flour to our bowl as well as a half a
teaspoon of baking powder now at this
point we’ve added all the ingredients so
we’re gonna get out a small spatula and
combine the dry ingredients we just
added into the wet ingredients once
those have combined nicely we’re gonna
get out a ramekin like this and then
we’re gonna coat it with baking spray
now we’re going to add our
cake better to that Ramkin and cook it
in the microwave just a heads up
microwave times will definitely vary
that said my microwave is 1,100 watts
and 45 seconds is the perfect cook time
for me also as just a general rule of
thumb you should always err on the side
of caution with mug recipes like this
and use less time than you think because
you can always add more time if need be
anyways when the center of your pancake
is just ever so slightly ever so
slightly underdone that’s when you want
to top it with butter some keto maple
syrup and dig in and check out how
incredibly thick and fluffy this single
serve pancake turns out it is so
ridiculously good and if you’re in need
of a quick easy on-the-go keto breakfast
idea this has got to be at the top of
your list
so the one-minute version is awesome for
mornings that you need a quick easy
on-the-go keto breakfast but if you
don’t own a microwave or you don’t want
to use a microwave or you just have some
extra time and you want to make a legit
stack of pancakes out of the recipe you
totally can cook these on the stovetop
as well so if you want to take a more
traditional approach to making these
pancakes I’ll show you how to do that
next the first thing we’re gonna do is
turn the heat up on our stove to medium
then we’re gonna coat a pan with baking
spray and heat the pan up a bit so once
that oil warms up we can add our keto
pancake batter to the pan and then cook
it for just a few minutes we’re looking
for some bubbling to develop on the top
of the pancake and also for the outer
ring of the pancake to turn a slightly
lighter color than the middle of it now
when that happens we’re gonna give our
pancake a flip and then cook the other
side for just about a minute or two by
the way the recipe makes 2 medium ish
sized pancakes or three small pancakes
so just keep that in mind if you decide
to make your pancakes on the stovetop
and then check this out look how thick
and fluffy these pancakes are I truly

  3. I tried making keto waffles on one of those little single serve waffle makers, but I couldn’t get them to turn out right. So I will try this pancake recipe and see if I have any better luck. They look delicious!
