Hello friends…welcome to Preethi’s Recipes. Today’s recipe is Valentines Day Slice N Bake Cookies.This is a very easy and simple cookie to surprise your valentine. Do try this and share your valuable comments in the comments section.Add some butter at room temperature, sugar and mix well.Then add vanilla extract,salt.baking powder and mix well.Then add some all purpose flour and mix well to form a dough. Then take a small portion of the dough and add any food coloring. Mix well and make a dough.Then flatten it and cut it using a heart shaped cookie cutter.Put little water and place the heart shaped cookies on top of each other.Then wrap the heart shaped cookies and refrigerate for 30 minutes.Then roll the white color cookies into thin strips and place it in the heart shaped cookies and roll it well with a plastic wrap.Add some sprinkles in a plate and roll the dough in it.Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.Then cut the cookies and bake it.Yummy valentine’s day slice n bake cookies are ready.

1/4 tsp baking powder
1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
food color(any color)
sprinkles(rainbow nonpareils)
