hi there folks – welcome to my kitchenonce again yeah I just got down towafflesbut I did promise you guys that makegood chocolate chip cookies because Imade the sugar cookies a couple of daysago and they came out so good that Idecided to make the chocolate chipcookies also if you notice I know someof you are gonna notice these chocolatechips that I’m using before you guys saywhat the hell are thosethey don’t look normal Sam well I’mgonna be honest with you and these are Ihad a third of a cup left of thesechocolate chips and for those of you whodon’t know I’ll give you a little lessonabout chocolate which fault that is veryold right it doesn’t go bad you can’tdie from it but when chocolate gets oldlike a few months old like six months toa year I have a third of a cup left in abag exactly and what happens is the milksolids actually rise to the top andthat’s why you get the color you get itlooks like white when toefl startturning white that means it’s kind ofold but it doesn’t mean the flavors badit’s not bad to eat so I want you to usethose up first I just wanted to tell youthat because I know some of you gonnanotice if you go what the hell are thosealso look like chocolate chips and theylook like they have dust on them youknow that’s the milk solids they turnwhite perfectly fine to eat but I wantyou to get rid of them because they werebothering me right okay so let me goover the the ingredients I got hereobviously the third of a cup ofchocolate chips in here I have a quarterof a teaspoon of baking soda 1/4 of ateaspoon of baking powder I have one Ibelieve it was a 1/2 of a cup and 2tablespoons of flour so I had to add 1 1cup 1/2 of a cup of flour and another 2tablespoons of flour I believe I have1/3 of a cup of sugar in this and whatelse and a little bit of salt in here Ihave an egg that you have to separatethe light from so this is just the eggyolk and in here I have 6 tablespoons ofbutter that I whipped up and then I havevanilla so we’re gonna do is obviouslyI’m gonna put the vanilla inbut uh first of all I’m put the vanillain the butter I’m gonna mix that up likeI always do I always mix up my wetingredients first that way I know it’sall well incorporatedbut when I got to set my thing for 375degrees 375 degrees I gotta set the ovenfor 10 minutes bake 375 that’s got apreheat and over here I already have mybaking sheet parchment paper all set upas you can see you know so that you needthe parts and papers a big bigdifference you can’t put it on metalbecause what happens is metal gets veryhot and it’ll burn the bottom soparchment paper is important I knowcause I’ve tried it both ways and I’veseen the different results and it’s abig difference okay so that’s prettygood now what I’m gonna do is mix in theegg mix this up and mix the egg in tryand get it all out actually try howsuccessful I’m gonna be I don’t knowyeah it’s easy to buy cookies it’s justso much more fun right this is some funto make chocolate chip cookies yourselfand you know what’s good about bakingand doing things yourself does youreally grow an appreciation I mean thatsounds crazy but you really grow anappreciation for life what it takes toactually get like like let’s saychocolate chip cookies for instanceright you gotta go to the supermarketand just go there and there on the shelfright real easy for you like they’re abox of chocolate chip cookies grab themyou eat them but you don’t realize whatit takes to actually make chocolate chipcookies cuz I’m not a factory and I’msure it’s much easier for a factory butregardless it’s really interesting tosee how things are made right okay sonow I’m gonna whip this inand now what I’m gonna do is put thisbutter and flour and know I gotta whipthis I gotta whip this up I’m gonna mixthis upso what I’m going to mix this up withcause I think a four mix this for aboutdry ingredients I’m gonna mix in with afork right here make sure everything’swell well incorporate it now all we havebrown sugar also I forgot it had brownsugar I realized when I was mixing itbrown sugar and and regular granulatedsugar I think it was a was a tablespoonor two tablespoons I remember exactlyI’ll put the link in the descriptionarea below there were so manyingredients in this I really don’tremember everything to be perfectlyhonest with you but brown sugar andgranulated sugar regular granulatedsugar they’re in these so it’ll give ita darker color and give you a darkercolor so most the other time I used justthe white sugar so we’re making the wewere making the sugar cookies but inthis they’ll be a little darker thecookies okay so I think that’s wellmixed yeah that looks good okay now nowthe fun part now I got a mix listen withthis you guys see that yeah you can’t soI’m gonna mix in this with this I’ll putit a little at a timesee I’m gonna dough will get a nicedough from this and that will make thismakes 12 by the way I know you guyswondering how many cookies does thismake well 12 isn’t that bad right 12isn’t really that bad so so yeahmix 12 so should’ve got a bigger bowl Ithink we need a bigger bowl like theysaid in Jaws I think we need a biggerbowl you see what’s happening to thewhisker getting stuck okay we’re gonnado we’re gonna do it we do that handso let me wash my hands one more timewe’re gonna do with our hand and makethe dough balls cuz I don’t have amix-up you had it mixed up so much easyright if I had an electric mixer itworks but you don’t have an electricmixer the only other way to do this it’stechnically with your hands I’m about 30times today you know so so yeah crazy soI’m gonna mix these up and you gottamake them into a dough so you just gotto work with it like dough is takes alittle bit of time until everything getswell incorporated you know this shouldbe really good at the end of this yeahit’s it’s gettin it’s gettin so it’s notsticky anymore you just kind ofincorporate everything together and if Imeasured everything correctly you shouldbe getting a nice dope you can tell whenit’s done because it feels like play-dohlike the other one any dough you reallywork with this lot met less messier thanthe other thing I did when I was makingthe pita breadremember that pita bread was a lotMessier this is more like a cookie doughyou know almost like a messy dough youcould actually I don’t know if you couldeat this you know people eat cookiedough raw but it’s not very smart to dobecause the raw egg is in herebut I don’t think you would die butnowadays with off the crap going on withall the diseases and all the problemswith the see now it’s becoming you canfeel well I can feel ityou guys can’t feel it but I can feel itcan you feel it can you feel it can youfeel it okay so you just got to keep ongoing like that now how am I gonna dothis is it says it makes 12 right so I’mgonna cut this in half and make 6 out ofa half well actually you have a betterideaI have a better idea actually makes 12an easier way to figure this all you seehow it’s coming together like one piecenow see how it’s coming together likeone piece who that guy who got lost soit’s come to this holding you guys arelike one piece but it’s not there yettechnically look at that look at thatnow we just got to take these littlepieces it takes a little bit of time Imean it’s you know it takes a little bitof time but once you get it done it’snot as messy as it originally was seenow it’s holding together nice just gotto keep on eating it keep on if youcould want you can just pick up theother pieces with this if you’re likethat’s everythingmm-hmm not too much more we can do withthat okay that’s donenow with this what I’m gonna do is I’mgonna get out the one my hands a messit’s all messy what I’m gonna do is takethis out right and take this out andhave an idea make it into a ball as asas good as I possibly can make it into aball what I want to make sure it’s mixedwellso I’m kneading it a little bit more andI think it’s mixed good enough that’s myother see my oven to 375 degrees okaythis is we have this tomato this is whyI’m figuring how to do it perfect rightthere’s nothing perfect butI’m trying to make it pretty perfecteven I’m trying to make them even if youknow what I mean see that it’s notcooperating enough but part part of myfinger wasn’t cooperated right okay okayso now what a mess right so you thinkwhy why are you doing this and to keepmy mind off other things this is how youkeep your mind keep yourself busy youkeep your mind off other things okayso now you got the ball right so this ismy ideatwelve twelve divided by four is threeso it’s a good thing I went to schoolright see school helps boys and girls 12divided by 4 is 3 so if I divide this inhalf like so all rightand then I divide it by half again likeso okay and we get four parts each oneof these parts should make three rightthat’s how I’m figuring it out each oneof these parts should make the race okayso what I’m gonna do now is I’m gonnapretty much roll this like this so it’seasier to figure event trying to figureit out to make three see what I’m doingI have ideas one two three one two threeI’m gonna do that with all of thempretty much do that with all of them andtry to make them even I mean it doesn’tyou know you don’t be perfect with thisbut like I’m trying to make them one twothree okayI’ll do that with this one you see whatI’m doing right I’m sure you understandwhat I’m doing see I put these onparchment paper they should come outabsolutely amazingI don’t know how evenly the chocolatechips are gonna be but I’m sure they’llbe amazing toookay so now what I’m gonna do I’m crazyI know right now what I’m gonna do nowis the fun part now the hard part’s overright so put this away the hard part’sover actually believe it or not okay I’mgonna put this over here for a minutenow parchment paper oh yeah it’s mucheasy to buy them in the store you knowI’m gonna really appreciate with allthis crap is over with the culvert 19crap I’m gonna really appreciate whenall this crap is over at the cove at 19and I’m gonna be like wow I made my owncookies okay now I’m making them nocircle only because I want them tospread out evenly I want them to becircular with me when they melt youunderstand what I’m saying right I’msure you do and what them touching methere so I have to have socialdistancing my cookies have to havesocial distancing no actually you haveto separate them so they don’t you knowso they don’t uh what you call it theydon’t touch each other then we have onegiant cookie I’ll try and separate thebest I cansocial distancing my cookies have tohave social distance as I was actuallyfunny thought about that myselfI don’t know how long we’re gonna be howbig they’re gonna be twelve oh yeah Ithink I need a bigger cookie sheetactually we’ll see how these come outI’ll try my best I’m trying my best withwhat I got that’s like I’m really I’mtrying my bestlet me make 12 you’re right make 12think I need a bigger bowlthink I need a bigger tray we’ll see howthese come outbefore more ago they may be touchingwe may end up touchingI’m trying how many five I don’t howit’s gonna come out cuz you’re me it’sthe only cookie sheet I got really Ishould go buy a bigger cookie sheet I’mnot there as a reminder what I need todo this is how you make chocolate chipcookies it’s much easy to buy this storelike I said but you know fun that’s whatit takes all those it takes a lot ofingredients you don’t realize it’s a lotof ingredients to make cookies I meanI’m lucky that I have house full of likeI try to make my staples like vanillasugar flour even brown shoe if I did abrown sugar okay so now the oven is at375 degrees and now we’re gonna put themin for ten minutes okay wish me luckyou’ll see them when they come out ofthe oven wish me luck guysmy babies are over there right if theymight be touching because I don’t thinkI have enough room but it’s no big dealif I have one giant cookie that’s goodtoo but I don’t think I will it’ll workout big I’ll see you in a few secondsguys I’m gonna wash my hands this shouldI eat it mmmit’s still good raw now if I drop dead Ican blame the raw cookie dough with theegg I’ll see you andthey look good so I gotta let them coolfor about a minute a minute or two andI’m gonna have this with a little bit ofcoffee I think I deserve a cookie don’tyou how many people think I deserve letme taste this cookie Wow so much easierto go shopping for cookies right butthen we have to have social distancingand it’s fun I like the mayor actuallyto tell the truth I like making thingslike this the hardest part about makingyour own cookies your own breads or yourown cake or anything like that is thecleaning up is the cleaning up is abitch I’m be honest with you so I’llshow you the bottom in case you guysthink I’ve burnt the bottom Dave ohthere’s the bottom if you use parchmentpaper you never burned the bottom okaygot to use parchment paperI know I’ve used I’ve used it withparchment paper then I’ve cut cornersand I set out what’s the difference if Iuse parchment paper if I just use likealuminum foil there’s a big differenceokay so there you go came out reallygood let me taste it they drop the chipsare in there for sure mmm really badholy mackerel look crunchy excellentsmoke hunchy really good deliciousthe only other thing I guys do actuallyis um put away the rest of the 11cookiesI got to put them in a bag but that’slater I can wait for that anyway guysgive me a thumbs up I’m gonna be puttingthe link in the description area belowfor the recipe for the few
