hello to my day ones I hope you guys arehaving an amazing day today so today wewill just be making some super easysugar cookies so go ahead and pre-heatyour oven to 350 and then you’ll take1/3 cup of granulated sugaryou’ll also need four tablespoons ofmelted butter I normally use sticks ofbutter but this is actually some CountryCrock butter I also used one egg yolkand then I also used a half tablespoonof vanilla extract now I didn’t measurethis and I usually don’t measure myvanilla extract because I don’t feellike I can ever have too much of itbecause I love vanilla flavor andvanilla scent so now once you have allof those ingredients in the bowl you’lljust mix everything together until youget this brownish color so once you’vegot all of that combined and you have asmooth texture you will take your halfcup plus 2 tablespoons of flour 1/8teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon ofbaking soda and you’ll mix that togetherand then you’ll just add this to yourliquid mixture and I add this a littleat a time just so I won’t have a bigclumpy mess and it’s easier to get theingredients fully incorporated when youdo it in increments like this[Music][Music]so once you begin to get your flowerfully incorporated into your cookiedough mixture you will begin to see alight tan color sort of the color of acreamy peanut butter now this cookiedough is also a tad bit softer than likeyour traditional chocolate chip cookiedough would be but it will still comeout a nice chewy and soft sugar cookie[Music]once you’ve got that mixed up you’lljust take some parchment paper and linea cookie sheet with it and then you’llspray that parchment paper with someclicking spray just to make sure thatthe cookies don’t stick so you just wantto take an ice cream scoop or a spoonwhatever works best for you and I didtry to roll the cookies in the brownsugar and granulated sugar mixture thatI made but it just it was not workingout as you can see not working out forme at all I took my ice cream scoop andI just scooped the cookie dough onto mycookie sheet and then I sprinkled it thebrown sugar and granulated sugar mixtureon top of that so this worked out alittle better for me since this dough isa little softer than the traditionalcookie dough is now my cookies were notin perfect circles but that does notmatter to me because they were stilldeliciousthis cookie dough recipe will make sixcookies however I only got five cookiesout of mine but that does also depend onthe size of the cookies that you’remaking and the size of the scoops thatyou’re getting and one of my cookies wasbigger than the others so I only gotfive but that’s fine with me becauseit’s only two of us so it worked outperfectly anyways[Music]you just want to place those cookies inthe oven on the bottom rack make surethat they’re on the bottom rack becauseyou don’t want them to cook too fast onthe top I cook these cookies for twominutes at first but I check them at the10 minute mark and I thought that theycould be a little browner so I left themin the oven for an additional twominutes so in all I cook these for 12minutes you can allow these cookies torest for 5 minutes and then they’ll beready for you to move over to a bakingrack if you have one but if you don’thave one that’s fine you can just letthese cookies rest on the cookie sheetfor about 10 to 15 minutes and thenthey’re ready to eat so there you haveit some delicious soft chewy sugarcookies and they were super simple andeasy to make so if you like this recipego ahead and subscribe to my channellike and share this video and have agreat day
