Oatmeal raisin cookies | Oats cookies | How to make cookies at home | Cookies recipe

In this video lets see how to make healthy delicious Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.

Preparation time – 10 mins
Cooking time – 10 mins

Ingredients :

Butter – 3/4 cup
Brown sugar – 1 cup
Condensed milk – 1/2 cup or egg – 1
Vanilla extract – 1 tspn
All purpose flour – 3/4 to 1 cup
Baking soda – 1/2 tspn
Salt – 1/2 tspn
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tspn
Rolled oats – 3 cups
Raisins – 1 & 1/2 cups

Procedure :

1. Take Raisins in a bowl and soak in hot water for few minutes .

2. In a large mixing bowl add butter and brown sugar and beat well. Then add Condensed milk or egg and vanilla extract and mix well.

3. In another mixing bowl add all purpose flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon powder and rolled oats. Mix well all the dry ingredients.

4. Now add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients by batches and mix well.

5. Squeeze the water from Raisins and add it into cookie batter and mix well.

6. Take small scoops of cookie batter Place it in the baking tray ( with parchment paper) or butter greased plate. Gently press the cookie to get desired shape.

7. If you are baking, bake it for 10 to 12 mins. If you are planning to cook on stove top then take a vessel with salt, preheat for 10 mins and place the cookie plate on a steel holder and cook for 10 mins.

8. Allow the biscuits to cool well and store it in a air tight container.

Delicious Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are ready.
