Mushroom cookies!? now I’ve seen everything!! No one will believe me until I make these for them… and they already don’t trust me not to go crazy with the cooking experiments. (To be fair, I once wondered aloud if I could put garlic in cookies in front of my father and he nearly disowned me.)
I would think rehydrating them in cooler water would help keep more of the flavor extracts. I imagine the hot and maybe even warm water pulls a lot of it out.
