HOW TO MAKE YOUTUBE SLICE AND BAKE COOKIES (diy edition) || C.C.A.S

right this is more an attempt to create an easier tutorial. i hope it helps someone make these cookies though 😛 even if our methods are a lil unorthodox. we were basically trying to copy eugenie kitchen’s recipe but make it easier. um… yeah that’s kind of it. if you wanna know the original mathsy tutorial the link is below. thanks for watching and while you’re at it go on and give me a cheeky subscribe, it would be greatly appreciated thankssss.

[Music]hey guys welcome back to my YouTubechannel and in today’s video me and mysister gonna be making youtube slice andbake cookies hey guys it’s Elise I thinkthis me I’m start the show and thenautomate the dough so let’s get startedyes here’s the red electric mixer thatwe have think you need to how to makesure this matterhey here are the ingredients so you’regonna want to get two and a half cups offlour three egg yolks one egg white washbut we don’t really need this you mightnot need it three quarter cups of butterone on one quarter cups of icing say howgood my nails look like I just want tolet you guys know that I solely did mynails for this little scene so pleaseappreciate thank you then you’re gonnawant to get a hundred-thousand pinch ofsalt red food coloring and vanillaessence now we’re putting some the Batainto our mixer and we’re adding in theicing sugar and we’re putting on thepaddle one we’re not putting on the myththe whiskey yeah it doesn’t matter it’sbecause it’s better when you make themdo oh it doesn’t matter and then you putin salt and a teaspoon of vanillaessence to get all that familiargoodness in there then you want to addyour three egg yolks and then you mix amix mixoh and then you add in your flour andmix it until it becomes a do and do andthen you put it on to a flowery surfaceand smack it likes leaned it and thenyou cut it and call for this your loveyou don’t scratch our table and thenthat’s when you’re ready to take onehalf and I do red food coloring so youwant to add as much as you can maybe notthat much and then you want to knead ituntil the red food coloring is spreadreally well and then you just add moreand annuda and then add more and thenknead it and then add more and a new andthen add more doing listen to Selene sheclearly adds too much that lets me lookat how we’reit came out so good later on when willit be complaining but always justremember this okay remember this andthen you want to calling from separatelyso that the color doesn’t seep betweenthem can we just look at how soggy thatred don’t okay and that’s what they’redone looks like so the whole point ofthese slice and bake cookies is like anAmerican thing where they bake they likemake a whole row of cookie dough andthen they cut this slice it so our youtube slice and bake cookies off fromEugenie’s kitchen I’ll lick the tutorialbelow so basically when you slice ityou’ll have the YouTube logo on it sobasically we need to make like a reallylong like triangular thing to put in themiddle of the thing so histamine ispinching the white dough into a triangleshape so that it becomes the middle ofthe YouTube logo now we just needsomething like like a ruler to pinch itand then we just cut off the ends[Music]so it means if you have no idea whatwe’re doing here so it’s like use aruler to try and like straight in thereout if you have anything else to sayabout it yeah we’re basically trying tosay that it looks pretty bad okay sowe’re trying to figure out how to do itbecause Eugenie doesn’t really likewhere’s Jeannie so here we are trying towrap the white dough with the red doughso that it will be like the trianglewithin the YouTube logo basically ourgoal is for fine and make this wayeasier the my career thing is with thisdough is so buttery like I can’t evenbit yeah but the thing that we may getsuccessful is if it if you cut it in themiddle and it’s like it’s stilltriangular yes recheck yeah so in orderto keep checking on the side it lookslike this inside Todd looks pretty whichis pretty good we just kind of we’relooking for now we just want to rollthis out okay I didn’t know how goodthis is gonna that because it’s meant tobe like a sucked like a like this wejust lift it up with that lift up withthe thing on the Roman oh that wasbeautiful safety bottom so here we areusing the rest of the red dough to tryme is that like rectangle are oblongDVD although ya see I’m just like pressit don’t press it too much you don’twant to form the triangle but you dowant to make it a bit of a circle so ifwe just like try and like roll it alittle bit I think is so so lit with meokay I’m getting kind of home we need toput this in the fridge so throughoutEugenie’s tutorial she talks aboutputting it back in the freezer becausethere’s just so much butter in the doughand it like softens really quickly soyou’ve got to keep putting back in thefreezer as you do it basically hi soobviously not like that like me herewe’ll just flatten it to make it into acircular kind of rectangular shape andhere we’re taking the last bit of thewhite dough to create the outer part ofthe cookie so you just take the rest ofyour white dough and just roll it out sothat the length is the same as thelength of cylinder you’ve made and thewidth is enough to wrap around thecylinder but unfortunately I didn’t umroll it wide enough so it means if youhave to take bits from think of partsand just patch it up kind of thing thatmakes sense so we had to patch it upyeah it was not great as you can see ittook us quite a while but in the end itwas fine cuz we rolled it and it wassmooth and it was all good we’re gonnaget all hundreds and thousands get thisstop on white bread up stop all the wayall rightthis stuff um we’re done but it is sogoodoh yeah and then slide it over no youare meant to do also concentrative okayso cool yeah okay don’t be silly okay nothis sidehow are you just pour it on my handtinnitus cyclist eugenie doesn’t Sophiejust pour it in her so here we areputting all the spring peas on so thatit looks nice out we tee and then Ithink we yeah we caught it as long asyou know we’re doing the YouTube signyou can kind of tell I think becausewe’ve Bethel if you can’t know / – Yutois a becoming orbital now we think theylook good in our last baking video wetold you guys about our recyclablebaking paper this is like recyclingbaking paper that we use sorry everyusable and you know she just put likenormal baking paper so like when yoursome dishes so as you can see we put ourcookies on a baking tray now we’re gonnaput them in the oven at 170 Celsius for10 to 11 minutes but also a bit thickerso we might put them in for maybe like15 to 20 minutes we’ll see so theyfinally come out of the oven and as youcan see they’re really really nice Imean some of them are really ugly likethat one[Music]we’re gonna fry them up a little piecehere hmm yeah they’re goodI recommend this recipe for anyone thatwants to try it and even be botheredwith all the measurements willdefinitely turn out much better thisturned out
