How to Make Tie-Dye T-Shirt Stuffed Cookies!!

You can use your favorite sugar cookie recipe to make the dough and dye it to your favorite colors, or use my recipe below!

Sugar Cookie Recipe
Makes 3 tie-dye t-shirt cookies

3 cups (375 grams) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon (4 grams) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon (3 grams) salt
2 sticks (227 grams) unsalted butter, softened
1 1/4 cup (130 grams) white granulated sugar
2 large eggs (114 grams), at room temperature
1/2 tablespoon (13 grams) pure vanilla extract
Favorite colors for tie-dye
1 cup favorite filling, such as Nutella, Chocolate Ganache, etc (avoid marshmallow as it expands while baking).

In medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt, and set to side.
Using standing mixer with paddle attachment, cream together the butter with sugar for about 2-3 minutes.
Reduce mixer speed to low and add in the egg, vanilla extract.
Add in the flour mixture and mix until dough comes together.
Divide evenly into groups of the number of colors you would like to have for your tie-dyes.
Roll each color dough into a log and twist the dough together.
Create t-shirt shape with dough – approximately 5-6 inches in height and 4 inches in width.
Fill with favorite filling – about 1/3 cup.
Freeze your t-shirt in freezer for 20-30 minutes – best that filling is more solid to make it easier to place the layer of cookie dough on top of.
Place top layer of cookie dough over the filling.
Freeze again for 20-30 minutes.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees, and bake for 30-35 minutes.
After baking, some of the sides may have expanded out, so use a knife to cut and shape the cookie.
Let the cookie completely cool down – at least 30 minutes on cooling rack to avoid it breaking when picked up.

Enjoy your tie-dye t-shirt cookies!
