How to Make Quick and Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪 Torte Test Kitchen

Have you ever gone to bake a batch of cookies and discovered that you’re out of butter? Or maybe you don’t have enough eggs? I have definitely run into this situation myself, so that’s why, on today’s Torte Test Kitchen, I’m sharing how to make quick and easy chocolate chip cookies that don’t require any eggs or butter.

This recipe is simple, tasty, super quick to pull together, and because this is a chocolate chip cookie recipe without eggs or butter, these delicious beauties are vegan…which also means you can eat the batter without fear of getting sick. You know you want to. Don’t worry, I won’t tell. 🍪😉

Also, just a heads-up, but I apparently had a flour fixation while filming this episode. This really is a chocolate chip cookie recipe without eggs and BUTTER. It definitely has flour. 🤪

Drop Dead Simple Chocolate Chip Cookies Without Eggs or Butter 🍪
 
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
½ cup canola oil
¼ cup almond milk
3 tsps vanilla extract
1 package dark chocolate morsels

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Whisk flour, baking soda, sugar, and salt together. Add in brown sugar, making sure to break up any lumps. Mix well, then slowly incorporate oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Stir in dark chocolate morsels. Use a spoon to scoop out dough and form into one-inch balls with your hands. Place balls on a baking sheet and bake at 350° for 8 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.

that you have no eggs, no butter? Well,this week on the Torte Test Kitchen,
I am teaching you a dead simple,pun intended, chocolate chip
cookie recipe. So stay tuned.(upbeat music playing)There is nothing worse, in my opinion,than coming into the kitchen all excited
to bake something delicious or justsomething as easy as a chocolate chip
cookies and not having the ingredients youneed. So this week, I am teaching
you the most simple, a dead simple –if you go to my Bakeshop Mysteries –way to make a chocolate chip
cookie with no butter, no eggs.It also happens to be vegan.So it is a win-win in every way.
These cookies are kind of crisp,but I’m going to use a dark
chocolate chip to make them just pop.And we’re going to put in a touch of
salt and they’re going to be magic.So without further ado, let’s get baking.(happy guitar music playing)Can you believe how well these
turned out? It smells amazing too.We have that delicious chocolate-ness.
I smell the vanilla, and remember,no eggs, no butter. Quick,
easy. You’re good to go.Here is a secret, and I
promise I will never tell,you can actually eat this cookie
dough batter, because there’s no eggs.So that’s another bonus.
They are so decadent.I cannot wait to sink my teeth into them.I highly recommend that you go for
a dark chocolate and those nice,bigger chunky chips, because then
you get this melty, oozy goodness.So whatever you have in your
