How to Make Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies

Hello everyone! So, last week I said I was going to be taking you all on an outdoors adventure. HOWEVER we got weather. So, there will be no outdoors adventure this week. This week though I will show you how to make some very delicious Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies. Its like a portable bowl of Oatmeal that you can take on the go. Weather it is on a trail hike up a mountain or just to work these are good to take anywhere! I hope you like this recipe as much as we do!

hello everyone and welcome back from thevideo my name is Caitlin and today weare making breakfast cookies they havebananas and oats and nuts in them andthey are really delicious they are alsogood at using up whatever you have inyour pantry so if you got a couplethings of this couple boxes of that leftyou know or come boxes or raisins leftand you can just throw them in therethey’re quite forgiving and you can makethem as healthy or as unhealthy as you’dlike so I know I said we were gonna beoutside today but insert footage of snowand cats here yeah look at it[Music]what is it instead[Music]so as you can see the roads are notgreat and I don’t feel like driving anhour away from my house you know and getstuck in traffic and all that thoughtand take you guys on a very funadventure but so instead we’re gonna beinside we’re gonna pour candles lit it’sme nice and warm and I’m gonna makebreakfast cookies for you guys today sothese are a good snack they don’t haveto be just for breakfast we eat thebreakfast because it’s good to grab andgo as you run out the door but they canalso be an afternoon snack or just a asyou go snack or eat really a snack Iwish I were on the trail right nowbecause that I I had such a fun conceptvideo bled for you guys but I’m kind ofdisappointed that I didn’t get to do itbut maybe you next week so we will see Iat the whim of the weather so withoutfurther ado well let’s get startedall right so the first thing you’regonna want to put into your mixer is twocups of quick oatsthen you want to add in two bananas andI’m breaking my banana up into smallpieces that way it matches up better inmy mixer you also want to add a quartercup of maple syrup I’m using Vermontmaple syrup so it’s gonna be reallyawesome and next you’re gonna want toadd about a cup of peanut butter onceagain I not measuring this it’s horriblysticky to get in and out of a measuringcup so I’m not gonna bother with it I’mjust gonna scoop out what looks to methat looks like about a cup we’ll gowith it I’m also going to add about acup of oat milk this is gonna create thebase for our cookies and I’m gonna giveit a nice little mix that helps mashthose bananas and get everything fullymixed through alright so now we have anice gooey dough that will hold all ofour other ingredients so you can prettymuch add what you like at this point I’mgonna add a teaspoon of cinnamon or midteaspoon and a half of cinnamon as mycinnamon has this head to explode alsohas four little boxes of raisins Ipantry that no one’s used so comes outto about a third of a cup of raisins andthen I’m gonna put about a cup ofwalnuts and a cup of ground almonds andthen we’re gonna give that a mix as wellall right so once everything’s mixed youcan take two large spoons and scoop outa hefty spoonful now we’ll call it heftyit’s so happy it’s falling off yourspoon cut it out so I’m gonna probablyget only about six cookies on phoenicianbecause I wanted to be larger like youdon’t wanna be hungry at breakfast sofeel free to make these a little biggerand you know if you want more raisinsfeel free to have more raisins you canalso run cranberries or cherries orchocolate chips if you like chocolatechipsI mean shuffle it goes really wellpeanut butter and banana so can’t seeanything wrong with that but if you wantto try and keep it as healthy aspossible maybe not the chocolate sothere we have it all right yeah sixcookies goodly size on cookie sheetand they’re damn it and then my oven ispreheated to 325 degrees and these willgo in for around 15 minutes I’m gonnacheck them at that time and see allright so it’s been 18 minutes and hercookies are done let’s break one openand see how it’s looking inside becausethey look delicious on the outside I’mAustralian they’re umlet’s break it open so here we go hmmvery delicious from very nauseous andnot too sweet which is what I like so Ilike things that are more um it has somesweetness to it cuz it has banana andmaple syrup but it doesn’t have a lot ofsweetness you can still taste thatpeanut butter and there’s nuts so it’snot gonna be like a super sugarybreakfast which is not something I’m afan of and I can definitely feel likejust from how heavy the thing is this isit that in itself is a breakfast like ittastes like you’re eating a handheldbowl of oatmeal so I think that you guysare going to enjoy that a lotit’s very easy like put one of these ina little sandwich bag each they couldwork with you eat them up and eat it inthe car right there that would be what Iwould do that’s our video thanks forwatching hope you all enjoyed it and Iwill see you all next week bye[Music]you
