hi everybody my name is Amelie s’moreBelle I am the pastry chef with Tuscanbrands and I will be showing you how tomake our sugar cookies today so we haveour butter and sugar we have our eggsand vanilla and we have all our dryingredients you want to combine yoursalt your baking powder your baking sodaand your AP flour all togetherso that everything is leavened and comefully combined so we’re gonna add ourbutter and our sugar into the mixer andcream them both until they’re light andfluffy so you’re gonna add the eggs oneat a time until each egg is incorporatedbefore you add the next one so I like tocombine my ingredients I’ll put mybutter and my sugar together I’ll put myeggs and vanilla together so that thoseingredients are incorporated together atthe same time you’ll mix the eggs untilthey’re fully incorporated and then I’llslowly add my flour and two additions soyou add your dry ingredients in twoparts so with the two islands ice creamscoop you’re gonna scoop your go you canscoop it in your hands roll it out alittle bit and then dip it in M&Ms orany kind of sugar topping that you wantto put on them line the baking sheetwith parchment paper before you do themand drop the side with the M&Ms up first[Music]so once you’re ready to put these in theoven you want to beat them at 325 for 8to 10 minutes[Music]
