This is a very sweet, crunchy and rich chocolate chips cookies. You can reduce the light brown sugar and granulated sugar to 1/4 cup each, according to taste and preference.
As for the chocolate chips, you can mix it with bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate chips as well as chopped nuts like pecans, walnuts or almonds.
Make sure there is at least one hour of chilling time in the refrigerator before baking. Also place the cookies at least 3 inches apart as they tend to spread during the baking process.
Cool the cookies to room temperature to enjoy a crunchy and rich taste!
