How to make Chewy Choco Chip Cookies ( WITHOUT MIXER)

Here’s the Ingredients for making Chewy Choco Chip Cookies.

2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 and 1/2 tsp. cornstarch*
1/2 tsp. salt
170g unsalted butter, softened
150g light or dark brown sugar
100g granulated sugar
1 large egg + 1 egg yolk, at room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
225g semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate chunks

MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS & WET INGREDIENTS

TIPS FOR MAKING PERFECT CHEWY CHOCO CHIP COOKIES:
1. Why i used 1 eggyolk instead 1 whole egg only?Additional eggyolk, increases chewiness and softness to the mixture.
2. Why i used the cornstarch instead baking powder?
Cornstarch is the secret for making the dough thickness and softness. Example: when you using the cornstarch in cooking it gives thickness and good texture to your food.
3. Why the brown sugar is more than the white sugar?
Because Brown sugar it will results, moister and softer cookies.
4. Why i kept the cookie dough overnight?
It will results thickness to the cookie dough.
5. Underbaked cookies are the secret to making the cookies softness.

Everything was based on my experienced before doing the cookies. Im a pastry cook before and i do a lot of cookies everyday not only hundreds.
