Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
12 oz chocolate chips
In a bowl combine flour, soda and salt, set aside. In a mixer bowl cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each. Gradually add flour mixture until all is well combined. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded spoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375* oven for 9-11 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on pan 2 minutes remove to cooling rack until completely cool.

[Music]hi welcome to kitchen today we’re goingto make my version of chocolate chipcookies I know that everybody and hisbrother has a recipe for this but thisis my version and in my mixer bowl hereI just have two sticks of butter and I’mgonna all right do that I want to addthree three quarters of a cup of packedbrown sugar and three quarters of a cupof granulated white sugar and oneteaspoon of vanilla extract and we’rejust going to let those Creed togetheruntil they’re well combined andmy plumbing[Music][Applause]okay well that were key in my goal hereI have two and a quarter cup ofall-purpose flour to that I’m going toadd one teaspoon of baking soda and 1teaspoon of salt[Applause]okay my hips are my butter and my superwell combined now summon for my mixerthey’re getting a little bit and I’mgonna add to it one at a time and theeating well[Applause]okay I need to scrape down my mixer goalfive – Michael I want to make sure allthat is combined really wellokay now I’m gonna turn my mixer downjust a little bit and start adding in mydry ingredients a little bit at a time[Music][Music][Music]how’s it make things I have turned myoven on to three hundred and seveno’clock for me it’s free now I’m justgonna run my mixer all scrape my ballsdown one more challenge and I’m wellI’ve got at all times it’s gonna hit therest of the blouse okay we’re going tolet that mix[Applause][Music][Applause]okay now I have 12 ounces of chocolatechips whatever you like we’re notbeating if we’re just going to let thatthe mixer start those in for us andthat’s all there is to it that’s how youmix it down okay your dough should looklike thisall right now on my cookie sheets Ilightly grieve through with a little oddshortening you use the regular or thebutter flavor or whatever you prefer andI have this little it’s about one and ahalf inch scoop and I just scoop thatyou want you don’t want to do thisreal close cookies are going to spreadand so I try not to push it too closetogethernow you can certainly do this with aspin around it soon would be good butI’m just in love with these littlescoops that just make like so much inhere you’re gonna get about a dozen on afull-size cookie sheet you’re gonna windup with about a dozen on there just likethat now in the oven and they’re gonnabake or somewhere between nine and 11minutes you just want to make sure thatthey are a nice light brown color okayI’ve already can’t given the first trayof cookies out of the oven and what youwant to do is set them on a cooling rackand love sit on the pan for about twominutes and if you just want to gentlylift them up and move them over toanother cooling rack so that cookiescool completely and what I do when I’mbaking these is it’s gonna make aboutthree dozen more or less depending onthe size you use so what I do is usemultiple cookie sheets and while thefirst one is baking I’ve alreadyreloaded two cookie sheet so I can takeone out and put it in and then put thenext one in the oven at the same time itjust makes it a little quicker now therethe one thing I did want to tell you isthat if you are if you have enough knowthat you’re going to use this cookiesheet again you just want to wipe itdown and make sure it’s cool before youput your dough on okayokay a little tip for YouTubeif you’re like me and you do a lot ofbaking at the holidays and you reallyneed more cooling racks so go out buy abunch of them use what you have what Ido is I think the cover off of my wireironing board wipe it down and you’vegot a mega cooling rack that you can laycookies on you can pies on whateveryou’re making and let it cool and calpercome[Music]
