[Music]do I smell cookies Chelsea what are youmaking right now we’re making bridesmaidproposal cookies pack them up I want tolearn all about them I made a cup of tealet’s check okay hi Chelsea thank youfor joining me for a cookie chat wherewe are going to be discussing thebeautiful cookies you made for us sotalk to me about the design processsure so these are bridesmaid proposalcookies so it’s kind of a sweet way toask your best friends to stand by yourside literally literally they have kindof a cutout which I think is unique I’veseen it a lot in the community and I wasreally excited to try it myself so youtake a smaller cutter and you cut out apiece of the dough into a larger shapeit could be a circle in this instanceit’s a square and that allows a funlittle interactive way for your friendsto say yes or no well they’re not goingto say no if it you didn’t give them theoption didn’t yes or have yes how longhave you been decorating cookies I havebeen decorating cookies about threeyears I’m in my third year now Iactually was talking to a prior bossabout it and she was like hey I’m goingon a bachelorette party in two weeks whydon’t I bring some cookies I was likeabsolutely great first order it’s on mewhat would you like and she wantedunicorn cookies and I just assumed thatthey would come out like what I see onInstagram I was dead wrong I don’t thinkI actually ended up showing people mycookies like six months after startingbecause it takes a while to ramp up forthe cookie itself is it the same recipeif so what is the recipe it is so it’sactually a really simple sugar cookierecipe you cream together sugar andbutter you add in an egg add in someflour and a pinch of salt and that’s itso Toshi’s treats is not your full-timejob so how do you balance your full-timejob with tashi streets so it’sdefinitely hard it’s not for the faintof heart but when you find somethingthat you love and you’re so passionateabout it gets easiersay your frosting smears or somethingelse happens how do you recover from acookie decorating fail so what I do tohelp myself through those fails is Ijust give myself a lot of time I’ve hadbatches of dough where I forgotten astick of butter and I can’t use it nowbut luckily I’m not down to the wire andso cookie decorating involves a lot ofpatience a lot which is ironicallysomething I never had a lot of my untilI started yeah I don’t think I’ll everget that so no cookie decorating for mefor anybody out there that wants to usethese cookies for a bridesmaid proposalhow would you go about packaging them Ipackaged up my cookies so that they cansafely get from one place to anotherwhat I did for my bridesmaids is I got alittle bit of a larger box so I can addin some other cute elements how manybridesmaids are you having in yourwedding partyso I’m actually having eight so witheight bridesmaids do you think there’sgonna be any bridesmaid drama I actuallydon’t believe it or not the girls I haveour true and true so because everyone issuch a good vibe I actually think it’sgonna be smooth sailing I don’t foreseeany dramaso no catfights no cafe let’s hope knockon what is it how involved do you wantyour bridesmaids to be in the weddingplanning so honestly they can be asinvolved or as uninvolved as they whineI’m pretty hands-on with most of thewedding planning but I love runningthings by them getting their opinionsmaid-of-honor asked to come dressshopping with me and I was so excited tohave her as a part of that so I thinkit’s really gonna be like case by caseevent by that basis so you got yourwedding dress alreadyI did can you spill any details fine canyou spill any details about thebridesmaid dresses so I haven’t pickedout exactly what style yet I’ll probablykind of have them choose the stylewhatever they feel comfortable in andthe only stipulation will really be thecolor there’s this beautiful cinnamonburnt orange color that I’m loving andwant to incorporate in my big day andthat’s what I really foresee them beingin I love that color what are youlooking forward to the most on yourwedding day the first one would be thatmoment when the doors open and Shawna’sdown the aisle I’m really lookingforward to that I don’t think I’m gonnamake it down the aisle dried up yep andthen waterproof man I know I know andthen the second thing would probably beour first dance any moment where it’sjust like the two of us for a second Ithink we’ll be really nice so beautifulthank you so much Chelsea for joining mefor another cookie chat make sure tosubscribe to the wedding wire channelfor more videos with Chelsea and tashistreets see you guys next time bye
