What better way to celebrate the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons than with some ‘Furniture’ shaped cookies! Before furniture is placed, it is always in the shape of the iconic Animal Crossing leaf. Today, Isabelle (Maiko) will be recreating these leaves as Matcha Shortbread with White Chocolate Filling Sandwich Cookies! These will be a great way to start the Animal Crossing launch party!
Animal Crossing made its debut in America on the GameCube in September of 2002. Throughout this social simulation series, you are brought to a town to live with anthropomorphic animals and, even as mayor, always has to end up paying back loans. In the newest series– Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you participate in an island getaway package. There, you are sent to a deserted island and build your island from the bottom up surrounded by many new and old Animal Crossing Villagers. New Horizons is all about bringing your creativity to life as you make your island exactly the way you want it!
