Hamantash (Hamantaschen) is a triangular shape cookie with sweet filling, recognizable for its shape, usually associated with Purim holiday. Traditional Hamantash will be filled with date paste , but chocolate paste or jam will be fine too.
In this video Dori and Adam will teach some techniques to make perfect Hamantash .
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
200 gr unsalted butter (very cold)
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp water
filling of your choice (date paste, chocolate paste, jam )
icing sugar
bake on 180 C for 20-25 minutes.
