cooking – how to make no-bake, gluten-free oatmeal cookies at home

Welcome to one of our Chrysalis online cooking/baking classes. Let Chrysalis staff Kealy and Jillian show you how to bake no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies!

** The full recipe will make about 24 cookies **

Ingredients:
½ cup butter
1 ½ cups white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup of milk -can use plant based milk if desired
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
½ cup of creamy peanut butter (or alternative butter)
1 pinch of kosher (table) salt
2 teaspoons of Vanilla
3 cups dry oats

Directions:
1) Add butter, white sugar, brown sugar, milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter
vanilla, salt, into a big deep pot
2) Bring to a rolling boil and wait 1 minute – will see boil around the outside of the pot
3) Remove from heat
4) Mix in dry oats until they are completely coated
5) drop cookies by tablespoons onto wax paper
6) Let them sit until fully set -or- put in the fridge/freezer- to help set faster
