[Music]hi everyone welcome back to my channeltoday i’m going to show youmy attempt on making saltinetoffee cookies so you’ll needthese ingredients you’re gonna need somebrown sugarchocolate chips saltine crackers you’regoing to needone cup of butter andsome people use pecans on top i’m goingto uselittle toffee bits just because i don’twant any peanutsso let’s go ahead and get started we’regoing to get started bytaking the crackers and lining the panget whatever size pan you would like toaccommodate how manycookies you think you’re going to wantor depending on how many batches youwantso you’re going to get your crackersjust lined upsingle layeredyou don’t have to stack them so you’rejust going to do that throughout the panso i have my crackers all lined up nowi’m going to move on to the next stepso the next step is going to be you aregoing toget a cup of butter so i’m going to justthrow some butter in there until it getsto one cupand then you’re also gonna get one cupof the brown sugarand then you’re going to put them insideof a[Music]then you’re going to put them inside ofthen you’re going to put them inside ofa potand let it boil for three minutes i havemy butter and my brown sugar inside ofthe potthe most important thing during thisprocessis letting it sit for three minuteswithout stirring itif something is going to be as much asyou’re going to want to stir it upyou’re supposed to let it just sit andit will do its thing[Music]so i’m going to remove this from theheat andimmediately poured over the crackersso our next step is to put it in theovenfor about five to six minutes on 400degreesso i took the crackers out of the ovenit smellsamazing it smells like christmas andfall timeso our next step is to take thechocolate chipsand sprinkle them over the top and letthem meltlet it sit for about five minutes andthen once it’s all melted then we’llspread the chocolateand put the toffee pieces on top so ihave the chocolate chips all overobviously it’s not going to be like thisi’m going to let it meltand then we’ll move on to the next stepso the chocolate is melted enough itobviously looks likeit still looks like the same form that iwas in but i’m gonna just take a spoonand spread the chocolate around andhopefully it doesn’t mess up so thechocolate is now spreadi’m going to just sprinkle my toffeebits on top i have the toffee pieces ontop nowi’m going to let it sit for a while justbecause it’s still kind of liquidyfrom the toffee aka the brown sugar andthe butterso just let it sit and cool for a whileuntil it’s hard enough till you canbreak it upinto pieces for your cookiesall right guys so after putting it inthe fridgefor about an hour and a half rather thanjust letting it sit on the counter itfinallycooled and it is ready to cut so you cancut itin any way you want you literally justput some lines in it to make it anyshape you wantor you can cut it into squares i’m gonnajustdo whatever comes out but i’m reallyexcited i cannot wait totry it so this recipe is reallyeasy to make it’s really cheap and it’sreally delicious you can make it forparties a lot of people use it for likechristmas timeor just get togethers it’s a reallysimpleand good treat be sure to subscribe tomy channel andgive this video a thumbs up if you likedit and try out this recipe and let meknow what you think about italright i will see you guys in the next[Music]video
