Coconut Cookies – 5 Ingredient Recipes | Quarantine Cooking

Ingredients:
1. Flour – 1 cup ( U can also use wheat flour)
2. Desiccated Coconut powder – 1/2 cup + some for coating
3. Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
4. Clarified Butter or Ghee – 1/2 cup
5. Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
6. Milk – 2 tbsp or as needed
Step 1:
Take Flour, Desiccated Coconut Powder, Baking Powder in a bowl and Mix well.
Step 2:
Take another bowl and add Ghee/Melted Butter, & Powdered Sugar and whisk until light and fluffy .
Step3:
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients Spoon by spoon and keep mixing it. Knead it Lightly. Add milk as required to form a dough. Cover it with a wet muslin cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Step 4:
Pre Heat the Over at 180 Degree Celcius. Take a cake tin or a tray and grease it with some butter or ghee or line it with butter paper or parchment paper
Step5:
Form little balls of the cookie dough. Coat it with the desiccated coconut and place them on the lined tray and bake them at 200 degrees for 14-15 mins.
If you are using a cooker for it, you can bake it for 20-25mins and after 10 mins put the flame on low
Your Soft and Crunchy Coconut cookies are ready. Cool them and store them in an air tight container . Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee
