This is a delicious and sweet afternoon snack or dessert.
The sweetness of chocolate & nutty flavor brings this dessert into another level especially if paired with your favorite tea or brewed coffee.
Chocolate Chip & Nutty Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups All-purpose-flour
8 oz (2 stick) butter, softened
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or nips
½ cup nuts (any of your choice)
Procedure:
1. In a bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
2. In another bowl stir butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg (put one piece at a time)
3. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips or nips and nuts. Mix until well distributed. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4. Scoop a teaspoon of the cookie dough and roll into a ball. Place in the cookie in a pan greased with butter.
5. Preheat toaster oven for 4-5 minutes. Bake cookies for 4-5 minutes.
6. Just remember to always check what you’re baking at the toaster oven a bit early since toaster oven cooks faster than a conventional oven. Make sure your toaster oven selector is baking from top and bottom so your cookie will cook evenly.
7. Remove cookie in the toaster oven and let it sit for 2 minutes before transferring it in a cooling rack.
