hey kiddos welcome back today i’ma showyou how to make homemade milk chocolatechip cookies it’s gonna be so awesomeguys so first we’re gonna start off withour wet ingredients our wet ingredientsis going to be our brown sugar and ourwhite sugar we also have our dryingredients which is going to be theflour salt and baking powder we alsohave some milk chocolate chips I howeverprefer milk chocolate chips if you wantto use dark chocolate white chocolatesemi-sweet or some chocolate chunks youcan definitely do that this is yourcookie this is your showyou can do whatever you want I justprefer milk we also have two eggs makesure that they are room temperature wealso have two sticks of unsalted butterthat is room temperature it’s veryimportant that these gradientsespecially the eggs and the butter isroom temperature because we’re going tobe whipping up the sugar and the buttertogether it’ll be so much easier to justhave a little temperature and Plus thiswill ensure that our cookie will be niceand chewy and delicious and you see howI’m making these dents in this butterthis is a perfect way to know if yourbutter is room temperature because youcan make those small little bits ifthey’re not just at your parents to putthem in a microwave for a little whilejust like five to ten seconds till itgets nice and soft if your eggs isn’troom temperature just put them in somehot water for a little bit and they willwarm right on through so let’s go aheadand get startedfirst guys I’m going to gather my wetingredients together and that would bethe sugars in our butter and the reasonwhy I like to use unsalted butter isbecause I like to control how much saltI put in my my baking in my cooking andI like to control the salt there’s notif you only have unthought if you dohave salted butter that’s fine go aheadand use it and I will be using my handmixer right over here sorry for thehorrible angle guys and I’m just workingwith my hands but that’s okay so let’sgo ahead and get started and mixing soyou want to make sure gets incorporateda little bit like this but at the sametimebut we’re gonna do right now we’re goingto scrape outside the bowlso we’re gonna scrape around the bowlunder the bowl because sometimes evenwith the KitchenAid mixer even with ourhandheld it can miss some points so youwant to make sure that you scrape aroundthe bowl and then we’re gonna continuemixing and it should look a littlesomething like this you see how smoothand uniform it is guys how that butterand that sugar is combined so good andeverything so we wanted you want it tolook like this nice and smooth kiddos wedon’t want a lot of clumps or bumps inour mixer so now we’re going to do isgoing to add a one egg at a time it’svery important that you do this step oneegg at a time we’re not gonna you don’twant to combine them all at once thiswill make sure that our cookie is nicesecondly and just chewy honey and then Ilike to add in the lid of our vanilla innormal this is supposed to be like oneteaspoon but I like to go a little aboveand beyond when it comes to a vanilla soI like three you can add as much as youlike and then we’re gonna go ahead andadd in our last egg we’re gonna go aheadand get that mix and combined and thenthe support again scrape your bowl guysmake sure that we didn’t miss any airpockets and make sure that everything iscombined okayand we just want to make sure that thisyou know we won’t miss anything so makesure it’s all nice and smooth you seehow pretty that isit’s like cinnamon butter just gorgeousso now we’re going to shift our dryingredients with the flour the salt andthe baking powder and if you don’t havea shirt there kids that’s totally finejust take a whisk and whisk it aroundand we’re going to add in half of itfirstmix and then we’re gonna add in theother half so let’s go ahead and addthat first half takes our mixer and yesmake sure you scrape that spatula wedon’t want to miss nothing okay nothingat all so go ahead and take whateveryou’re using to mix with and give it acouple seconds and let it twirl turn itoffand in the other remaining ingredientshere we go almost look there already andalso kids always remember we’re gonnaclean as we go because we don’t want tomake a ton of mess in mommy and daddy’skitchen we’re gonna clean as we go andgo ahead and keep mixing so they get sowell combined so this is what it lookslike on nice and pretty and we didn’toverwork our dough and like I said ahandheld mixer will work well with thisif you don’t have a handheld mixer ifyou had a KitchenAid you can use that aswell but I prefer the handheld and it’sreally important that we scrapeeverything and now we’re gonna add inour chips you can add whatever kind ofchips you like like I said it beforeI’ve also added in some pecans to thisone time toffee caramel bits I’ve alsoadded in walnuts and now we’re gonna doinstead of using our mixer if we’regoing to fold gently fold our chips ininto our dough because we don’t becausewe’ve done so much of this door writingwe don’t want to overwork it so takeyour spatula dip it and flip it over andthat’s how you fold then we’re going totake some saran wrap put saran wrap ontop of your dough and we’re gonna putthis in the refrigerator why becausewe’re working with butter if we put thisinto the oven right now which should bepreheated to 350 degrees our cookies aregonna turn out flat and crispy and babywe don’t want that kids we do not wantthose flat crispy cookie but we want wewant a nice beautiful decadent chewycookie so we’re just gonna cover thiswith saran wrap extra parents to helpyou put this in the refrigerator and letit chill for like thirty minutes or anhour and while doing it others should bepreheated to 350 degrees then we’regonna get a baking sheet we’re going toget a cookie um a cookie scoop if youdon’t have a cookie scoop or ice creamscoop use a spoon that’s okay just placethem on the tray two fingers apart or toenter the park from one another becausethey will spread a little bit and somake sure that they’re on the cookiesheet with some parchment or some foilso that can come off easily and it’ll bebaking for ten minutes and boomlook at cookies they’re just out hereresting and yeah and look we got somebeautiful cookies it always takes aboutten eleven minutes in the oven for 350degrees and this is all we havebeautiful decadent chewy milk chocolatecookies thank you so much for lookingguys and watching love you
