BUTTER COOKIES l How to make Butter Cookies


All purpose Flour – 1 cup
Powdered Sugar – 1/4cup + 1 tbspn
Cornflour – 1/2 tbspn
Egg Yolk – 1
Vanilla essence + a pinch of Salt
Butter – 100 gram

Preparation method :

1. Prepare the baking tray

2. In a medium sized bowl, mix powdered sugar and butter ( room temp )

3. Now blend it well by adding Egg yolk, Vanilla essence and Salt

4. Add sifted all purpose Flour and Cornflour onto this mixture

5. Once it is well blended, transfer the dough into a piping bag with a large open star piping tip so as to get the swirl look

7. Once transferred, place the dough tray refrigerated for at least 1 Hour. This will prevent the dough from spreading while baking

8. Bake for 12-15 min in a preheated oven at 180•

9. Leave the baking pan for 2 min and then transfer it on a wire rack to cool completely

10. Cookies are ready to serve. For storage, place it inside an air tight container
