To make our chocolate chip cookies you will need:
150g softened butter (unsalted)
80g granulated sugar
80g light brown muscovado sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
225g plain flour
200g chocolate chips milk/white/dark whatever your preference (can be chunks or chocolate cut up into chunks)
Equipment:
Mixer/hand mixer or good old wooden spoon and bowl!
Baking trays
Greaseproof or baking paper
Small ice cream scoop or two teaspoons
Scales to weigh ingredients
Silicone spatula
Oven temp 170c for fan oven and cook for about 10-15 minutes depending how quickly they brown around the edges 🙂
