Wake N’ Bake Sessions Ep.3: Banana Bread

Welcome to Episode 3 of our Wake N’ Bake Sessions! For this video, we would like to share our take on Banana Bread

This video will not possible without the recipe of my homie Don Pao Villaflores, salamat men at sorry naovermix ko lol.

Recipe:
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Cups Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Powder
2 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
4 Eggs
1 Cup Oil
1 Tsp Vanilla
4 – 6 Ripe Bananas (Preferably very ripe)
Walnuts, other nuts, chocolates or other ingredients you want to put are optional.

Procedure:

1. Combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

2. In a seperate bowl, Mash your bananas.

3. In a seperate bowl, combine sugar, eggs, cinnamon powder and vanilla. Using a mixer or a whisk, mix it carefully using “creaming method” ( I included in the video what is the meaning of this method).

If you want to achieve a more densed and less airy banana bread, don’t overmix it, in my video I accidentally overmixed it thats why I produced a more fluffy or “airy” banana bread.

4. After mixing, you can add your mashed bananas and nuts.
Mix your dry ingredients as well. Mix properly.

5. You can add your oil.

6. Bake your banana bread in pre-heated oven with the temperature of 200c for 20mins. After 20 minutes, bake it again for another 15 mins with the temperature 150c.

7.Cool down your bread for 5 to 10 minutes. Enjoy!
