Hello welcome to Our Cabin In The Woods.
Our story really started in 2013. We talked about being more self-relient. So we started looking for property. We found this 10 acres fully wooded oak property.
Our kids have all moved on and have the own family’s. We sold our log home. 6-20-2015 is when we moved into our camper on the property lived in it for 9 months while building our new 1600sq ft log home.
We have egg laying chickens, meat chickens, turkeys, pigs, and goats. We also have three real nice gardens.
Please follow us on our modern homesteading journey. You will see more building, gardening, animals stuff and canning.
