The Best Chocolate Babka Bread || Babka Bread || Baking Recipe

Hi, everyone! Today we’ll make bread again. This bread is so amazing and delicious. I make a full tutorial with every step so you will be able to make it too. So this video is very detailed. I am happy to make this content so you will be able to enjoy it.

We will start with the ingredients.

For the Babka Dough Bread ingredients: 🍞
4 1/2 cupw all-purpose flour
11 Tbsp butter
3 whole eggs
1/2 cups water and 2 Tbsp water
2 Tsp instant yeast
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 Tsp sea salt

For the Chocolate Filling: 🍫
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 stick butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 Tsp cinnamon powder

For Babka Bread Glaze:
6 Tbsp sugar
1/3 cup water

Step 1:
Combine flour, yeast, and sugar. Then add eggs and water. Mix everything together. Give extra 2 Tbsp water. Turn the speed, add salt and butter. Knead for 10-15 minutes until it turns really smooth. It depends if you notices, the dough hasn’t formed really smooth you can keep to knead. Test the dough by spreading and check if it didn’t tear, it’s ready for the next step. Wrap the dough inside the bowl that is ready coated with oil. Fridge for 12-14 hours.

Step 2:
Making the chocolate babka bread filling:
Melt butter and chocolate chip. Then add sugar and cocoa powder. Stir and mix it. It will turn to be thicker. Add cinnamon powder. Set aside until cool down.

Step3:
Filling the babka dough
Cut into two the dough. Keep the other one back to the frige while work with first dough. Roll the dough with rectangle shape 10 inches and 12 inches. Spread the filling on the dough. Make 1/4 inches. Brush the end part with water. Start to roll the dough from your front side (10 inches) to the end. It will look like a long burrito. Place it to the baking pan and freeze for 10 minutes.
Then repeat to the other dough.

Step 4:
Shaping the babka dough
Cut half lengthwise the dough. Start to twist them. It will look like a braided hair. Pinch the end of each side. Place it to the loaf pan, cover with towel for 1 1/2 hours. Repeat the rest of the dough.

Step 5:
Preheat the oven to 375F. Make babka dough for 25 minutes if it’s done then remove from the oven.

Step 6:
Making chocolate babka bread glaze
Simmer water and sugar until they are well-combined. Set aside until cool down.

Step 7:
After the chocolate babka bread is done, brush with the glaze.

Finally we can serve it. It’s really good and moist.
