Shake & Bake-Episode #3: Banana Bread

[Music]welcome back guys to shake & bake todaywe are baking up some button up bananabread alright for this recipe all youneed are two cups of all-purpose flourone teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon ofsalt 1/2 a cup of butter 3/4 cup ofsugar 2 eggs and 3 ripe bananas whichyou will mash up into a bowl what do Ineed a ginger got to us the first thingwe need to measure 2 cups all-purposeflour so scoop your measuring cup and[Music]1/4 of a teaspoon of salt and 1 thingyou want to take note is you alwaysstart and mix all of your dryingredients together first and so thatway they get evenly spread throughoutthe bowl before you start adding anyliquids butter eggs any of that so justdry ingredients all together one bowland that’s how you can see we have ourdry bowl here our next one will be moreliquidy and then we have another bowlhere too as well and you’re ready tocream the butter and the sugar yes let’sdo it we are pulling out the mixer allright I just flop it on okay there’s ahalf a cup of butterthey’re pouring with the sugar with thesugars slowly for the children[Applause]all right now that we have mixed are twoseparate roles we are going to take oureggs and out of bananas to the banana[Music][Laughter]but in fact I actually learned thistrick from my mother she taught me theshot for herself correctall right so now that we have the eggsin there we’re mixing it all togetherall right let me know when you’re readyfor a little bit of this I’m ready for alittle back I’m all right add bananaafterwards bananas here to put the backinto it now that you mix everythingtogether in our big bowl it is time tospray down the pan and just in the chimpit is smart to bring it your oven beforeyou start working so that way whenyou’re done and prepped and ready to goand put it in your pan your oven isready to and you’re not sitting herereadyso once you get it all in the pan youwant to spread it out evenly throughoutfilling up all four corners all right[Music]though I just flip the switch and we aredone baking it’s time to try see how wedid all right guys we are shaking Baythanks for watching another episodewe’ll see you on the next one
