Quarantine Baking Quick & Easy Basic White Bread Recipe – Pan Blanco

A step by step video on how I make a very quick & easy recipe for white bread. A great time to get the kids involved. Quarantine time does not have to mean we have to be bored. Be active, be productive. Get them off their electronics and in the kitchen. They will love it. Best of all they get to eat what they bake. Basic Bread Recipe
Ingredients
1 package of fast acting dry active yeast
1 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
3 to 3-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg white
1 teaspoon cold water
Directions
1. In a large bowl, Add the flour, sugar, oil, salt and yeast Mix well. Add to the stand mixer, then add the water and the oil. Mix and continue to knead until very soft. About 10-15 minutes. If kneading by hand knead about 20 minutes.
2. Turn onto a Clean surface; Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
3. Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Shape into a roll the size of your loaf pan (9”X5”).
4. Beat egg and cold water; brush over dough. Bake at 350° for 25-35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to a wire rack to cool.
