Protein-packed Banana Bread Recipe | Alt-Baking Bootcamp | Well+Good

If you love banana bread, you need to try this recipe! It has all the soft, sweet goodness of a traditional banana bread, but it’s gluten-free and packed with extra protein. It’s the perfect healthy snack! Watch for all of Sashah’s expert tips, and find the full recipe to try it yourself below!

3 Overripe Bananas (cold for better sugar caramelization)
¾ cup Coconut Flour
¼ cup Almond Flour
1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein (dairy-free alternatives ok to sub)
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
¼ tsp Salt
5 Eggs
¼ cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
¼ cup Maple Syrup

1. Mix in standing mixer–mixing by hand is totally doable, albeit more labor intensive
2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-46 mins, depending on oven variability
