BREAD PUDDING
5 eggs
3 cups whole milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 cup sugar
8 cups bread cut into medium pieces (We like French and Sourdough. Really any bread will work. It’s best to buy loaves that are not sliced so you can slice them thicker than usual.)
BANANAS FOSTER SAUCE
4 oz sugar
4 oz brown sugar
4 oz corn syrup
4 oz unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup spiced rum (Optional)
1 cup banana slices
