There’s really nothing better than the smell of baking bread. Except maybe the smell of baking bread in a wood-burning cook stove! Now, while we have switched to modern technology in the Cookhouse here at the Village, we still break out these techniques pretty regularly when we use the wood-burning cook stove in the Webber House for special events and activities. You might even be lucky enough to get here when the bread is coming out of the oven!
